Nurse Sibs

Events, Workshops and Mentoring for Nurses and Nursing Students

I'm Georgia

Also known as Nurse Sibs, a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiology

I am passionate about Cardiac Nursing and educating nurses on all things heart related as I truly believe nurses need to have a good understanding of their patients conditions to be able to provide the best clinical care, uphold patient safety and educate patients effectively.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Nursing from Deakin University in 2017 and have since worked at two major hospitals - one in Melbourne, one in Cairns - in Cardiology; more specifically in CCU and pre and post Cath Lab Units. These years of experience in my field have allowed me to step up into a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiology role in 2021. 2022 saw this role being combined with an ANUM role for 8 months which I decided to step down from after an intense bout of burnout mixed with my realisation that patient care and education are my true passions as opposed to management.

Educating for me isn't just about passing on information, it is about empowering others and encouraging critical thinking. I provide educational posts via Instagram, workshops, 1 on 1 coaching and online learning for nurses at every level of their careers.

My Introduction to Interpreting ECG workshops are currently open for 2022 and are perfect for any nurse who doesn't feel confident in interpreting ECGs. See below for more on what to expect and workshop dates.

My nursing events are gaining traction across the country with the Victorian Nurses Luncheon and The Perfect Nursing Debrief events bringing together nurses and nursing students from across Victoria. October will see my first interstate event held in Sydney with tickets selling fast already. It has been incredible to be part of a new wave of nurses supporting nurses and I am so excited to see how many people these events can impact, inspire and empower. For more details on upcoming events, see the Workshops and Events page.

What People Say

It was so valuable and I'm so happy I booked it in. I went from getting most answers incorrect to getting mostly correct. I'm so excited to use these skills at work. Thank you so much again!
